Where It All Started  

Trimod Productions was created in 1999 from a vision in a small spare closet of a home in Laurel Bay Military Housing, South Carolina.  However, it's roots go back as far as 1988 during the DJing and rapping days aboard Naval Base Long Beach, California. With only a desktop computer loaded with Acid Pro software, and a few local rappers, services were provided to produce their demos. 

The first few years prove to be extremely challenging to maintain a traditional recording label.  Between military duties and family obligations, music creation and production often took a back seat in reference to priorities.  Nonetheless, after receiving both formal and professional level training in both studio and live environments, and acquiring studio equipment one piece at a time, Trimod Productions was well underway.

Numerous projects with numerous artists and groups were recorded at Trimod Productions first official location in Redford, Michigan.  Unfortunately, many of them did not reach their full potential for numerous reasons.  Sometimes, creative differences between artists and groups can adversely effect the desired outcome of a project.  Nonetheless, we persevered, while continuing to make great music.

 

In Late Spring 2021, we lost our studio due to fire.  It was a total loss.  After 20 years of hard work and great memories, we were forced to start over from scratch.  Thankfully, there were no loss of life and no one was injured.  Material things can be replaced, but human life cannot.

By the grace of God (and a good insurance policy), we were able to rebuild and re-establish Trimod Productions in Detroit, Michigan.  Now, we're back in operation bigger and better than before!  We have been working diligently at creating  great music.

We've also acquired an awesome distribution company that has proven to be a great asset in ensuring that our music is available via most major outlets as well as Trimod Productions directly.  These include, but are not limited to YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes and many more.  Enduring challenging times has taught an invaluable life lesson, and is now our recording label's motto -

                               "It's Bigger Than The Music Baby!"
